LOST GESTURES DRAWINGS

(started in 2016)

These drawings are made from the repetition of various symbols from computer keyboards, such as #, :, •, //, @, (), &, =, +, ^, %, [], |, , {}, -, ><, `, ~, *, §, ±, etc.

The repetition of the digital signs generates visual and audible rhythms on the table that the dancers respond to. Anderson draws at an increasing speed until an error occurs and her gesture is ‘lost.’
